Introducing local artists Kate Green and Rhyanna Halasovski, this exhibition celebrates the joy of making art and the emotion that can be expressed through it. Kate’s energetic, colourful abstract paintings and screen prints sit alongside Rhyanna’s elegant digital artworks that celebrate the female form.
About the Artists:
In Kate’s own words: ‘Colour is wonderful! It has the ability to make us happy and do us good. My art is full of colour, life and joy – designed to put a smile on your face!’
Kate is an abstract mixed media and multidisciplinary artist whose practice includes painting, printmaking and sculpture as well as supporting creativity in others through workshops and mentoring.
‘I’m excited by the extravagant dimensions and intimate details that I see in creation…I use refined pattern, expressionism and layering to communicate the unseen, sharing emotion and making the invisible visible.’

With a background in fine art painting, Rhyanna now specialises indigitally drawn artworks that are elegantly composed with fluid lines and limited colour palettes, which are sensual and impactful.
‘I am particularly drawn to negative space and minimal design, as they allow me to highlight the beauty of the female form in a subtle way. Through the use of clean lines and minimalistic compositions, I aim to evoke sensitivity in my work, while still capturing the raw unapologetic essence of femininity.’
